People say being Vegan is a "diet," or personal choice.
Is murdering someone, beating a dog, or raping a child a "lifestyle" or "personal choice?"
Being Vegan embodies nonviolence, refusing to participate in the oppression of everyone, of every species, including innocent and vulnerable nonhuman animals.
For example, pigs, chickens and cows, commonly used for “food.”
When you get to know them, it's easy to recognize nonhuman animals have feelings and are sensitive individuals, just like you or your dog and cat companions.
Being Vegan refutes the pervasive idea that harming sentient beings is “normal.”
Being Vegan represents a shift to a new moral baseline *rejecting* violence for pleasure, amusement or convenience.
Cows were raped for your dairy products, such as milk, butter and ice cream.
